HTML programming script is the script used for all internet communications. Having a general understanding of how it works can give you a greater understanding of how websites work. This is important, as a large portion of people who regularly contribute content to websites don’t really understand how their website works, and can fall into a number of traps that they otherwise would not have. HTML itself is actually quite simple, particularly when compared to other programming scripts. It is pretty easy to gain a general understanding, as it works in a way which allows you to intuitively determine what are the issues with the script. Most tags in HTML work in the same way, with an opening and closing tag. The only difference between the two is the forwards slash which is part of the closing script. For instance, in order to make a header tag you would do <h1></h1>, and anything you place in between would be the header. HTML tags work a bit differently, but this can give you a starting point.
